what is undermarket 2.5?

undermarket 2.5 is an illegal online marketplace - and, in the words of our sweep, much more. the 2.5 generation in the name signals a rebuilt store rather than a first launch, carrying the catalogue and the community of the original into a new version.

the 'and much more' is the tell: the catalogue extends beyond a single speciality into the general-bazaar range. registration is the entry point and the rest follows the normal darknet flow - browse, pay in crypto, wait for the escrow to release.

we track reachability through tor: the checker probes the onion on schedule and the badge below is the live signal for whether undermarket is answering now.

before you trust any of this

.onion addresses are long on purpose. one wrong letter = someone else's server.
if a service matters to you, cross-check its address against its own clearnet site or PGP-signed announcements.
a green badge here means "reachable", never "trustworthy". we report reachability only.
